Tech Mecca is not a retail, walk-in, for-the-public business
all work is by appointment only and books ahead

home office and project spaces are in the lower Hudson Valley in New York state
a roughly 60 mile drive North from NYC.

Social Media - I avoid it because, to me at least, it's distracting and addictive.
It's like a direct-inject mental junk-food that is designed to hold one's attention,
gather data on what draws it, break it in to pieces, monetize this information
and reward users with dopamine releases generated by empty "likes"
from "friends", many of those being bots.

I maintain a couple accounts so people who have lost track of me might be able
to find me, or possibly so I can find people I have lost touch with... or so I can
do a quick check to see if someone I have not spoken to in a long time is
still alive... helps avoid awkward emails and phone calls.

Here are the ones I have not yet dumped:

LinkedIn - resume etc. - not on there regularly
Instagram - I post photos of things once in a while
