Zeltec has klett's large Branson Ultrasonic Tank... The tank is a custom unit sized 40kHz unit designed to handle long deep console modules from Neve VR and SSL size and down.
Ultrasonic cleaning, followed by proper re-lubrication of moveable contact controls is a very thorough and efficient way to deal with the the large quantity of switches and contacts found in large format console modules... this tank was very useful immediate following the Sandy event in 2012, when a number of studios were flooded out. Modules and equipment that were immediately flushed out with clean tap water and then brought to the tank for follow up cleaning and contact treatment are back in service today thanks to quick action to remove salts and contaminants and replace moving contact lubricants... console modules that are going on 30 years old and have never been in a flood will benefit from having oxides removed and flushed from switches without using solvents that can attack the plastic components that hold contacts and moving components in place.
